What are Eliquids
Eliquid uses base ingredients to create a smooth flavor. This base can consist of PG (Propylene Glycol), VG (Vegatable Glycerin) or both. Most of our eLiquids have mixes containing 70% PG/VG 30% to 50% PG/VG 50%. PG and VG are combined with natural or artificial flavors such as vanilla or apple which creates unique and satisfying recipes.
What is VG or Vegetable Glycerin?
Vegatable Glycerin is a sweet, thick, vegetable based liquid. 100% VG base is very thick and hard to smoke effectively. A combined PG/VG blend is recommended. Vegatable Glycerin is non toxic.
What is PG or Propylene Glycol?
Propylene Glycol is used as a flavoring carrier in food products, as an ingredient in food coloring and also used as an additive in various medicines. A combined base of PG/VG blend is much more smooth then 100% PG base. Propylene Glycol is non toxic.
Are your products TRPR compliant?
On the 19th May 2017 the Tobacco Related products Directive came into force in the UK. Since its inception our store has been compliant and being members of the IBVTA Independant British Vape Trade Association has ensured we only stock and sell appropriate products.
What makes a TRPR compliant Eliquid?
In short all Eliquids containing nicotine are limited in size to 10ml and a maximum strength of 2.0% or 20mg of nicotine. All bottles will have passed testing and be registered with the MHRA. Bottles or there boxes must contain a warning that the product contains nicotine.
What are shortfills & how are they different?
Shortfills are larger bottles of Eliquid made without nicotine so in theory they are Zero nicotine products so they are not limited to 10ml in size. Unlike standard bottles of zero nicotine they are over flavoured to allow for the addition of a nic shot to add nicotine. This must be done away from your local store.
What is a Nic Shot?
A Nic shot or Booster shot is an unflavoured Mix of PG/VG that when added to a Shortfill bottle will dilute the flavour to what it should be while at the same time adding nicotine to a zero nicotine product. As an example if you add 1 x 18mg nic shot to a 50ml shortfill it will give you the same as a 60ml bottle of 3mg Eliquid.
